Are you going to heaven is a very pointed question, however every person on planet earth must answer that question for him/herself.  Jesus came to earth to make a way for everyone.  His death on the cross of Calvary was for our sins.  Our acceptance of His substitutional sacrifice is essential to our entrance into heaven.  Jesus, Himself tells us in scripture : "except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" and "except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

Therefore the "New Birth" is necessary before anyone can enter, see or claim any of the benefits of the kingdom of Heaven. The new birth is the rebirth of the human spirit.  When a person believes in his heart that Jesus died on the cross for his sins and then makes a profession of Jesus as his lord, the bible says that person will be saved or born again.  Being born again is not joining a church it is being born into the family of God.

If you are uncertain of your eternal destiny and you want to insure that heaven will be your eternal home say the following prayer of trusting God.

Father, I'm a sinner and I need a savior. Thank you for sending Jesus to die on the cross just for me.  I do believe with all my heart that He was crucified for my sins and that You raised him from the dead on the third day.  Right now I confess Him as my Lord and Savior.  Your word says that those who come to You, You will not turn away.  Thank you for accepting me into your family.
